At the Beach
My exhibition at Dungeness in Kent was a great success. Lots of visitors (and sales!). Plus I met some of my Instagram followers for the first time. Here’s a view through the window with two of my paintings on found wood. Top one sold.
My exhibition with husband Ron has now opened for three days at Dungeness Open Studios in Kent. Here’s a photo of the beach hut we’re using to show our work which is inspired by our visits to Dungeness for the past 8 years.
Shingle Shacks
This monoprint was made on a small Xcut Xpress press during the lockdown for Covid 19 in April 2020.. Lynda’s sketchbook was used for source material for this print of small houses on the shingle in Dungeness, Kent.

Dungeness in Kent makes a frequent appearance in Lynda’s work. Here a book of collage and monotypes evokes the scattered nature of the houses and the way they are lit up at night by the sweep of the lighthouse beam and by the glow from the nuclear power station.
