Adding another studio

We’re converting our garage to make another studio in the garden, this time dedicated to printmaking so we can clear the other two studios of presses and screens. Work starts tomorrow!

Topiary monoprints

Some monoprints started at Edinburgh Printmakers today. Based on sketches I made of the topiary garden at Levens Hall near Kendal. More layers to come!

Fruitmarket Artists Bookmarket 2025

Find me on the bound : unbound table at this annual event in Edinburgh on Saturday and Sunday 15 & 16 February 2025. More details later and on gallery website. It’s always a fun and busy event with lots of artist bookmakers and visitors.

New Dungeness monotypes

I’ve recently made some new monotypes at a master class by Kittie Jones artist at Edinburgh Printmakers. They’re based on my Dungeness sketchbooks. This is a finished one. The others need some additional trace monotype before I publish them.
